I had a proper lovely night in me Standard Studio! The staff were like a breath of fresh air, offering me real milk for me cuppa. The room was massive and clean, but I did hear a bit of street noise. Still, a solid spot for me stay!

It was well located for Dunedin centre and Baldwin Street - both within walking distance
The bathroom in our unit (15) could do with renovation

Absolutely loved the nearby culinary scene! Grabbed some mean fish and chips at Mei Wah just down the road. The Maharajas served up a tasty curry, made my taste buds dance! The room was tidy and the bed super comfy, ensuring a great night's sleep after all those lovely eats.

I arrived at night in the winter, the car park was well lite up and it clear as to where the Office was. The reception was very welcoming and friendly. The drapes in my unit were pulled and the heater on making my arrival very warm and inviting. In the morning you still got the friendly welcome and it felt like nothing was a problem. A great stay all in all.

What you'll love and what you won't
The owners were warm and helpful, providing clean accommodations with a fantastic location, only a short stroll from restaurants and the university. Comfy bed enhanced my stay with satisfactory water pressure in the shower , too.
A bit of noise from nearby students during the evening hours may interrupt a quiet evening. Some furnishings appear dated, which slightly detracts from the overall experience.

nearby stadium, ample parking, complimentary washing machines
The reception access process is a bit bizarre!!! It felt strange being greeted through a door instead of a warm welcome on arrival. A little upgrade on furniture aesthetics wouldn't hurt either, as some pieces felt dated!!!

This old-style hotel is nice with caring staff. The location is handy and comfortable, right by a beautiful park and a golf course, and many Fast food outlets - couldn't be better. There's The Museum Cafe just a short walk away from the venue, they have tea/coffee/desserts.

The Cablecourt was ideally located within walking distance of Dunedin centre, Otago Museum and the Botanic Gardens. The free laundry was a welcome addition. The staff were very helpful. The family room is large however note one single bed is in the lounge/dining/kitchen area.
The room was dated in terms of decor compared to other motels we had stayed in.
